Tour 3790 Copper Oak in Howard!
Remember the idyllic subdivision we visited last fall for the Green Bay Showcase of New Homes?
Well, one cul de sac over from the Midwest Design Homes Showcase entry on Mighty Oak is the newest ranch built by our sister company Jon Huss Custom Homes at 3790 Copper Oak.
This ranch home is built on an equally impressive lot,
With a wooded backyard and walkout basement.
These pictures were taken last summer when the trees were at their finest green. Even without leaves the lot still harbors privacy through all of the western windows.
But enough about this stunning location, let’s go inside this beauty and look around! The last time I was there we were still putting some of the finishing touches on. We can start in the kitchen-
Dark maple cabinets with a clean white tile backsplash, granite counters and a huge island! We are talking spacious! Room to seat 6 plus!
The U-shaped kitchen is open to the dining nook but has some privacy to the living room with a partially closed wall (not pictured) that holds the fridge, a built-in microwave and more awesome cabinet storage!
Once in the living room you can appreciate the unique lighting choice, view of trees through these extra tall windows and the tray ceiling details.
There is a corner fireplace with a hearth and stone mantle height as well as a feature wall with cubbies for decorating and a stone border on the bottom.
The foyer has another special orb light, one of my favorite lights from 2014, and the ceiling opens to the dormer on the front of the home to create another unique ceiling detail and allow extra light into the home.
Down the hall you will find two bedrooms and a bath in addition to the Master suite! The Master bedroom has a tray ceiling and a private woodland view as well.
The attached Master bath has double sinks, an ample walk-in closet and a tile shower with a very clean and modern design!
Modern gray subway tile in the shower is paired with a low maintenance fiberglass base and LVT bathroom floors.
Vessel bowl sinks and modern chrome faucets sit on counters that are a clean and breezy white with black flecking.
The biggest surprise to this 2000 square foot ranch home is the finished lower level!
If you hadn’t noticed that the trim upstairs was painted white, you may notice as it changes to a dark stain for the newel posts in the foyer and in the downstairs…
This is the right way to mix the two finish options!
But enough about the trim, because as you come down the stairs into this entertainment space you will only be looking up! The entire lower level has 11 foot ceilings-framed down over the bar to showcase this amazing barrel detail complete with reclaimed rusted tin…
And oversized barn-style pendant lights to create that industrial look!
A custom bar stained black awaits the perfect top and the full size fridge awaits stocking of the perfect party beverages!
Made with the same reclaimed corrugated metal as the ceiling, a custom barn door opens to a large flex room space.
An additional living room, full bath and 4th bedroom make up the nearly 1300 finished square feet in the lower level of this plan.
The barn light theme carries throughout the space, with additional wall sconces that give the family room adjoining the bar area the perfect ambiance.
