The Refreshery in 3 photos: Small Business Summer Series
I’ve already admitted how much a good logo and font catches my eye. That alone drew my attention to this small business but I also discovered they embrace my other weakness: food with unique ingredients. When I heard they were putting bee pollen in their healthy smoothie drinks, and that bee pollen looks straight out of one of my favorite scenes from “Honey I Shrunk The Kids”…I knew I needed to get myself over to downtown Shawano and try it. I didn’t go to document so I have only three photos to share, but I think that’s all you need! Go check them out for yourself!
So here’s The Refreshery in three photos, June’s Small Business Summer Series entry!
The quaint storefront has a small merch area and seating at a few tables in the window. They took an old building and focused on a simple color pallet of white walls, white tin ceiling and warm woods.
Grab a cold-pressed juice from the glass front cooler or order a drink or smoothie bowl from the seasonal menu. I had a husband and dog waiting in the car so I did take my order to go.
And my bowl with bee pollen did not disappoint! Look at all those other ingredients: oats, coconut flakes, bananas, kiwi and blueberries! The adorable little “R” logo is clean and memorable and the name fits the feeling you get. It was refreshing! It was something completely different that what I usually seek out and although I am light on my commentary of the building and their renovation I am confident in this instance that less is more.
