Welcome to Week One: 30 Days of June returns!

Those who know me well know how much I adore the month of June.  Years ago I began documenting all the memorable things we take for granted by saving an image that represented that day, each day, for the entire month.  This soon became my 30 Days of June photography series here on my Blog!  I am happy to keep this tradition alive with a whole new batch of snap shots.  Welcome to week one!

Behind the pics (from top to bottom):  The Bear Lake Vintage Camper show in Manawa was the quintessential welcome to summer!  I couldn’t think of a better way to kick off the 1st and 2nd of June!  Animals abound in our yard, from our friendly new barn cat to the bird she never noticed…and the late-blooming yellow tulips at my parents house in between.  What’s old is new again- we rotate our “vintage” Jeep into our driveway for the summer.  There’s something nice about going back to basics and the vehicle I always loved the most.  It’s sort of like going home again…  Our dog Josie- watching out the window for Nick to come home.  And finally, dusk falls on the farmland.  The thunder clouds roll in for the night, watering the newly planted fields and giving June a lush green advantage over all the other months.

30 Days of June continues next week and every Friday for the month of June!
