I went into a brief appreciation of her love for decorating her Christmas tree earlier this month and how it added to the sense of magic we felt around the holidays. Then I arrive to Sunday Night Supper to see this…

On her kitchen window sill, among the twinkly lights and a Harry Potter Lego stag, a nutcracker themed Godiva chocolate box, (from the good ‘ole days when we used to stop in the one at the local mall while Christmas shopping together) and a funny little solar hula dancer (I have no idea how this fits in), she now has this jar.

Last year it was a collection of all the little jelly jars that she made her own small sign for that said- “Grammies-Jammies.” And I wished I had taken a photo but I didn’t.

So I have to document this because it is just sooo her.

All the squash, gourd and pumpkin tops… and then when you flip the jar over to read the label:

This is just sooo her...and I mean that in the best possible way!
