July Favorite Photo

This month I am doing something a little different. My favorite photo pick is not from July, it’s not even from this year. And this favorite photo is not even my own. But I do love it.

I’ve held on to this little square black and white snap shot for many years, intrigued by the version of my Mom that I don’t entirely know. The 13-year who staged her Barbie’s perfect wedding with her other dolls and teddy bears standing by to watch.

I share it today- on the wedding anniversary of the day she married my father back in 1972.

I hope her special day was everything she imagined it to be all for Ken and Barbie all those years before!
