Frogs and Fireflies Fairy Festival 2015!

This year’s Fairy Festival went off without a hitch!  It didn’t rain, all the kids had a good time and they all looked so darn adorable!

Here’s the overview of the day and activities for this year’s Frogs and Fireflies Fairy Festival!

Fairy Makeovers!

It was hard to replace my sister who manned the Mermaid Cove Make-up station at last year’s event, so I called in the big guns!  My brother and an air brush artist tackled the little girls and even made time to use make-up on one of the adults!

Fairy Cake Decorating!

Amanda Cupcake was here to share all her glittery goodness and enchanting talent with the little fairies!

They were able to frost cupcakes and adorn them with gummy frogs, edible glitter, candy hearts and angel wings!

Dragon Egg Hunt!

Why not reuse those glittery Easter eggs as some sort of scavenger hunt for our festival?

The kids hunted up the hidden eggs beneath the giant leaves of the Blue Angel Hostas in my yard!

Fishing for bottle caps!

Kids love to play in water so I filled up a small pool with water and my mom added in all the green water bottle caps she had been collecting.  Fun surprise- they float!  The kids took turns seeing who could net more caps!

Fairy Crafting!

My mom always sets up a table complete with her custom Fairy Figurine souvenirs for all the girls!

She also offered firefly creation using pipe cleaners and plenty of glitter!

Good times with Friends!

We had some time to sit back and relax!  Eat some snacks and have our grown-up version of a Fairy tea-party (there may have been some wine)!

I am so grateful to everyone who came- another fantastic Midsummer’s Eve Weekend came to an end with a Frogs and Fireflies Fairy Festival on FF!
