A Home for the “Hills”
This busy building spring has turned over into a busy building summer with a few exciting custom projects taking shape. One of those jobs is for a great couple building in a subdivision outside of Greenville that I am referring to as the “Hills.” It is going to be a beautiful 1.5 story home. Here’s some of what we have selected so far!
Siding
With a combination of two shades of grey, we are using Granite and Sterling by CertainTeed with white accents to create a tranquil clean exterior that is a little different than some of the other homes in the neighborhood. Although this is proving to more difficult than it seemed!
A few homes we have built with similar colors schemes:
Light grey siding with white windows and white corners
Light grey siding with dark stone, dark front door and stained wood beams, black roof
Light grey siding with black windows
Sterling grey siding with pacific blue shake
Trim and Doors
White pained trim, grey stained cabinets, French Roast stained interior 3-panel doors and a mix of painted and stained stair parts.
This style of the doors above, but in reverse. Pained trim and stained doors. The color would be similar to this pantry door:

Flooring
One of the most important decision of your entire build! The flooring for this house will be amazing!
We have a hardwood for the kitchen, dining and foyer with a LVT in the mudroom and a LVP in the bathrooms.
Here are some examples of this style of vinyl plank floor when we have used it before:
(grouted)
(non-grouted)
I hope to share some progress next week as the home begins framing and some of the other design updates!
