Five Different Color Stories for your Harvest Table!
Last year I hosted a weekend of open houses at MDH properties each with a different fall table scape theme!
Since I didn’t have a Blog last year, I thought I’d share those couple table settings along with a few other fun ideas from my house!
Enjoy 5 Different Color Stories for the Holiday Table!
Red
Everyday blue-green china gets a boost of fall glamour from red fall leaves and a bowl of apples.
Artificial sparkle pumpkins add a little autumnal fun!
Green
Black square plates and bamboo lanterns give this setting an Asian vibe. Dressed up with napkins and coordinating rings bearing the aspen leaf design. Artificial pumpkins once again tie in the fall feel.
Neutral
Cloches with natural bread underneath and wooded bowls with textured pine cone and birchbark balls give this table a natural warm textured look. The urn planter at the center is an example of collecting other items for your color story that might not be your usual interior décor.
The gold printed dishes and feather printed placemats elevate this table setting to a more fine dining appeal, if that is what you are after.
Orange
The trick to the pop of color in this setting is the two sheets of wrapping paper in orange and white running across the table under the plates in lieu of a horizontal runner or placemat. The plaid paper napkins bring the color story home.
Purple
Using a simple centerpiece of artificial leaves and berries with some red and purple gourds around a classic hurricane style candle holder, I added 16×16 sheets of purple scrapbook paper under the arrangement.
I also recycled my Easter table branch and a few butterflies that matched the new color scheme. Three black acorns give the butterflies a perch.
And there you have 5 different color schemes for the Harvest Table- I hope I was able to make you picture your Thanksgiving dinner table in a new shade!
