How to Change Your View

I’ve been working on a series of photos for Midwest Design Homes called the “Change Your View” series.

It started off as a way to promote the available MDH homes for sale that have private backyards, but it also got me thinking about all the subdivisions out there that offer great views.  When we Met the Millers, we all sort of envied their tree-lined road and wooded lot.

Miller's road

This was their road last month.

The good news is that the Greenville and Hortonville area still has some beautiful subdivisions with roads that will make you feel you’ve gone much farther up north than you have!

The pine trees in these photos look more like they belong bordering a sparkly lake at a summer camp than hanging out in a Fox Cities West subdivision.

I love the idea that someplace nearby can evoke memories of travel.

It got me thinking about how building a home on a lot like this could really make your new home site into a retreat. Sort of like this new idea of taking a stay-cation!  A vacation where you make the most of everything around you instead of traveling far away.

I fully support that idea. Hey- why not?  We should all be working towards a more peaceful and relaxing home.

For as many places as I have traveled to…I always value the feeling of coming home!

Everyone deserves a house that makes you smile when you walk in the door and has a view that belongs on a postcard!
