Gerhards Kitchen and Bath Store Event

A new kitchen and bath store opened in the Valley last summer.   But it was my first time at Gerhards the other night for their Vegas themed “First Look” event.  Of course, they had me at the Vegas theme.  I love a good theme party event.  And the chance to see a more upscale showroom featuring cabinets, quartz countertop lines and all of our favorite plumbing distributors like Moen, Delta and Kohler was also part of the draw.  So I was pleasantly surprised when all this also came with professionally catered food!  I saw the new products, chatted with the reps, spun a wheel to win some door prizes, drank a glass of wine, and then, well, there were these guys…

These giant shrimp in the mini bloody mary mix cups had me at “Hello.”
showroom
One of the first things that catches your eye when you walk in is the blingy crystal chandelier (because, well, there probably won’t always be shrimp).
kohler
A great display of Kohler products.
tub display
There are various bathroom vingettes staged with the trendiest styles.
catering
And kitchens! The kitchens here actually work! Just ask this guy! Great way to see the Cambria countertop products and use the touch faucets.
food
But of course I didn’t do any of that, because my hands were full eating these! Stuffed mushrooms and meatballs. In the foreground of the previous photo were macaroni and cheese fritters!
delta
Alright, alright, back to what we really came here to see! Delta showerheads.
brizo
And the always luxurious Brizo line (also from Delta).

So if you want to check out Gerhards for yourself, you can visit them at 2100 W College Ave in Appleton.

What do you think?  Should wine be provided when shopping for plumbing fixures like how they give you champs when you try on wedding dresses?  Just a thought:)
